Syekh Muhammad Meets Anies at City Hall

An Ulema from Mecca, Syekh Muhammad bin Ismail bin Zain met Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan at City Hall, Jl. Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

Anies said, Syekh Muhammad is one of the leaders from Pesantren in Mecca which has many students from Indonesia.

"We have important visitor from Mecca," he stated, Monday (1/22).

Anies Welcomes Visit of US Ambassador to Indonesia

He explained, both of them discussed about public interests and importance in building nation characteristic.

"Insya Allah, his visit will strengthen relationship between Indonesia with ulema in Mecca," he explained.

Meanwhile Syekh Muhammad bin Ismail bin Zain expressed his gratitude for Jakarta Government's invitation and warm welcoming.

"I am honored to have a chance to visit Jakarta. Towards Jakarta Governor, I am thankful for this invitation," he expressed.

According to him, a friendly meeting (silaturahmi) with Jakarta Provincial Government is an indicator that shows goodness side of each nations in giving positive vibes. Moreover, Indonesia becomes center of attention since it has the largest Muslim population.

"Today, I want to have silaturahmi and meet my students in Indonesia," he mentioned.
